2D-8th grade artists are problem solvers.  They are thinking and designing solutions like an artist, while folding in personal perspectives and styles.  They are approaching the act of art-making as a way to respond to and address local, national, and global issues. 8th grade artists are continuing to hone techniques and focusing on how creation and presentation of artwork can encourage dialogue.
